About Goalvy
Hi! I'm Zack.
I'm the founder and CEO of Goalvy, and I'm also a registered nurse with board certifications in emergency nursing and nursing education. In truth, it was a difficult road to discover my life vision and what I wanted for my nursing career. More than that, it took me some time to figure out that what I really wanted out of life was to become a nurse.
I am an Iraq War veteran who served in the U.S. Air National Guard. My experience as a first responder lead me to work as an Emergency Department Technician, then as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the ED. I complete nursing school and became a registered nurse after separating from the military in 2015. There's no perfect road to finding yourself and who you want to be, personally or professionally.
On my own journey, I struggled. I failed. I fought to find the right balance between work, school, and my own life. I knew I needed to create this balance if I wanted to succeed, and I realized that I had no choice but to discover the tools and motivation required for success on my own through trial and error. Eventually, I found the spark and drive to excel in school and regain control of my nursing career.
After helping several friends and family to succeed, I realized that I could harness this passion for helping others through health and wellness coaching. I aim to share tools and knowledge so others can succeed and fulfill their life purpose. My goal is to help nurses who are burnt out, looking for a career/specialty change, seeking to advance their education, or to improve their well-being. I am happiest when I can provide nurses and healthcare providers with tools for managing a busy career while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
